Girl UNinterrupted Survey
Happy New Year 2018 from Women in Architecture Committee!
As we schedule our events for the year, and join initiatives at National level to be a part of the change for positive experiences for women in architecture, we are proud to announce that members of Women in Architecture Committee have joined the “Girl UNinterrupted” initiative started by Boston based designer duo Juliet Chun & Zhanina Boyadzhieva.
Before we share more about the project, and we lose the reader (that’s you scrolling down on the phone, almost ready to move this email to trash), I request you to spend a few minutes of your day to take this survey which is open for people of all genders employed in the profession of architecture, with 0-10 years experience (emerging professionals). This data will help us make the profession more equitable to women. Data drives change! When you are done taking the survey, please share the survey using the link below with other emerging professionals you think should be taking the survey. It’s anonymous, and the data collected will be presented at AIA ’18. The survey will open on 02/01/2018 – 03/15/2018.

About the survey:
Los Angeles Designers Data 2018 survey targets young professional designers (male + female; 0-10 years of experience) in the field of Architecture & Urban Design in Los Angeles. The goal is to extract and tackle specific issues we face in the profession today. Data is collected anonymously, analyzed professionally with preliminary results presented at AIA 2018 and final results posted on this website. The survey takes 6-10 min and includes four categories of questions: 1) General Info, 2) Negotiation & Self-Confidence, 3) Career Growth, and 4) Work-Life Balance.
