Webinar: Lighting Fluency

Presented By: Apparatus Design

Lightologist Therese Lahaie and a local lighting designer will present projects to show you how to improve lighting in residential, commercial, and public projects. We focus on new products and mock-ups that lead to successful implementation. We guide you through the quality of light metrics to affordably improve health & wellbeing at home and work, lighting layers enhancing dimensionality of your projects, current optics and acoustic technologies, all developed by respected lighting manufacturers. We are combining 50-minute Innovators in LED Lighting training that ends with a fun 10-minute interactive quiz show and prizes (a $50.00 gift card).

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify two ways that the quality of light properties of LED products improve health and well-being for residential and commercial environments.

  • Observe the four lighting layers and what types of products are required to make the spaces you design look three-dimensional.

  • Recognize innovations in optics technology to reduce fixture count, improve lighting levels and save energy and money.

  • Identify three key properties of successful acoustical lighting solutions.
