Webinar: Integrated Technology Platform for Mass Timber High-rise Construction

Presented By: Intelligent City

Build Smarter. Live Better. Think Change

1 AIA HSW

Our industry is currently facing 3 major problems at the same time: the need for the creation of urban housing that is more affordable and more desirable, the urgent need to address climate change, and the systemic lack of required innovation.

This program will introduce participants to an integrated design-engineering, product and technology platform-based approach, to address these problems, through a focus on the industrialization of carbon-neutral mass timber building systems for high-rise construction for resilient urban densification.

Learning Objectives. Attendees will ~

  • Learn about a product approach with integrated mass timber systems building for high rise construction

  • Learn about the necessity to change design, collaboration, and procurement paradigms for prefabricated buildings

  • Learn about a path towards carbon neutrality by considering design integration for embodied, operational, and behavioral carbon, and Passive House compliance.

  • Learn about integrated technology platforms that enable end-to-end solutions including the use of advanced software, virtual pre-construction or digital twins, and automated manufacturing with robotics.
