This course provides an overview of the development of fire sprinklers as well as the history and application of NFPA 13 as it relates to different occupancies. Participants will learn about what types of fire sprinklers are available; when fire sprinklers are required; and what types of fire sprinklers are required in different occupancies. They will also obtain a basic understanding of NFPA 13s purpose, scope, and objective as it relates to fire sprinkler system protection.
