AND A SPECIAL PRESENTATION: The AIAOC Housing Committee and Emerging Professionals Committee Present: Housing Charrette – Part II, A Deep Dive into Attainable Living
The Housing Charrette – Part 1 showcased a 4.69-acre site in Irvine, where local architectural firms presented concepts for attainable housing through detailed site plans, elevations, and floor plans. The designs explored strategies to create attainable, high-quality housing while maintaining design excellence and livability. Part 2 shifts focus to the innovative individual units developed by AIA Orange County emerging professionals. These designs will be crafted to explore the challenges and solutions in creating attainable ‘for sale’ housing, while exhibiting creative approaches to livability and quality of life.
