An In-Person Tour
Attendees will learn about unique opportunities captured in La Placita Cincos success integrating affordable housing into an existing residential neighborhood and leveraging underutilized commercial properties as well as incorporating communal open space. The program will shed light on the project teams approach to aligning housing and amenities that specifically respond to the residents needs within a challenging site in Santa Ana, California. This project also showcases the collaborative success with the City to address zoning issues and environmental review regulations while also redefining the misconception of affordable housing in order to gain community approval.
