This program includes a tour of the Kaiser Design Center and a panel discussion from healthcare professionals on upcoming trends in healthcare outpatient design, including how to create healthier environments for patients and staff. These trends are based on lessons learned from the Covid years, and the use of modular design to reduce waste and the carbon footprint.
The tour qualifies for 1.5 AIA HSW learning units.

Attendees will learn about lessons learned from Covid to design healthier environments for patients and staff.

Attendees will learn about the benefits of modular construction in the healthcare design process, and how it reduces onsite waste, greenhouse gas submissions, and the use of sustainable materials. To reeuce the carbon footprint.Learning Objective 3:
Attendees will learn about new trends in healthcare facility design that creates healthier interior environments, including natural light and airflow, for building inhabitants.Learning Objective 4:
Attendees will discuss the current demand for outpatient care facilities in Orange County and how to design to comply with strict California energy codes.
