This panel discussion will focus on the delivery of modular construction, its multiple variations based on location and use, and sustainable factors of modular vs. on site construction. Attendees will be introduced to architect, contractor, and owner perspectives on this project delivery typology and understand the strategies used in the decision-making process.
Learning Objectives:
Attendees will learn how modular construction generates 50% less greenhouse gas submissions compared to conventional onsite construction.
Attendees will learn how modular construction can reduce up to 90% of onsite waste compared to conventional building construction.
Attendees will learn how modular construction allows for the use of sustainable materials due to its offsite controlled environment construction process, as compared to onsite construction subject to weather conditions.
Attendees will learn about project strategy, design, and decision making when considering modular construction.
