AIAOC Lunch Hour ADA/Accessibility Webinar Accessible Door Hardware Presented By Course Description:  This course walks you through the process of selecting accessible doors and hardware based on Chapter 4 of the ANSI A117.1 the Standard for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities to comply with ADA and CBC Chapters 11A and 11B.   Learning Objectives: Learn the origin of the ADA Americans with Disabilities Act and how it has been adopted into the California Building Code. Understand how code compliant accessible hardware is selected based on ANSI A117.1 and CBC Chapters 11A and 11B. Understand a clear and concise specification for accessible door hardware.
