Continuing Education
AIA Orange County offers a variety of tours, educational seminars and social events. The Chapter also schedules specialized education programs and resources including Architects Registration Exam (ARE) Test Prep classes, Americans With Disability Act (ADA) Seminars and Sustainable Design (SD) Courses
Committees.
Individual members have the chance to participate in these committees, providing networking opportunities and exposure to different facets of the profession.
Design Awards
Members have the opportunity to submit projects at the chapter’s Annual Awards of Excellence competition. Individual members have the opportunity to enter submissions under their own name in categories tailored to the nature of their practices.
Contract Documents
Members receive a generous 25% discount on AIA documents. Prepared by the AIA with the consensus of owners, contractors, attorneys, architects, engineers, and others, the documents have been finely tuned during their 120-year history. Legislative Representation

ARE Seminar Series
AIA Orange County presents Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) Review classes for those ready to become licensed architects. The comprehensive series is composed of classes that focus on the multiple choice and graphics vignettes. All classes are led by experienced architects and allied professionals who prepare candidates with the basic material covered in each of the exam sections.
